Horton Plain - World's End - Tour

This tour will be start from Nuwara Eliya.We can pick up you from any hotel/guest house nearby Nuwara Eliya City.As well as we will pick you from Pattipola railway station.From Nuwara Eliya to Horton plain  entrance point distance around 30 km via Ambewela,Pattipola.

From Nuwara Eliya to Pattipola Railway station distance approximatly 20km.

Trek through forests, up country rail road, remote tea estates & villages, scenic passes, waterfalls, scenic plains at Horton Plains National Park.

There are  2 amazing view points: the World’s End (870 m. (2800 ft.) drop) , and the Little World’s end (270 m. (890 ft.)).Also small museum that is located right before the main entrance. This is the only national park in Sri Lanka, where you are allowed to walk, not allowed any any vehicle inside the National Park.Trekking approximatly 3 hours.

This tour will be start from Nuwara Eliya.We can pick up you from any hotel/guest house nearby Nuwara Eliya City at 5.00 am.As well as we will pick you from Pattipola railway station.

Trekking approximatly 3 hours.After trek complete we will pick you from the Horton plain entrance gate around 11.45 am and drop off in Nuwara Eliya Hotel or Ohiya Railway station as per your convience.

• Lightweight travelling bag/backpack – It’s important that you take only the essentials to the campsite and leave the rest in your vehicle/hotel. Though you will get staff assistance if required, it will be very helpful for you to travel light to the campsite.
• Smaller backpack - 
  As there will be a lot of trekking to do in the park, you will certainly require a backpack to carry things like water, raincoat, snacks, camera, binoculars, etc. wherever you go. If you want to use one backpack for both requirements, you may require some kind of a bag to leave your things in when you are trekking.
  Please prepare your backpack with the essentials and avoid carrying unnecessary baggage to the campsite.

  • Down jackets. 
  • Warm pullovers.
  • Light cloths.
  • Trekking shoes/boots.
  • Raincoat with hood poncho.
  • Monkey cap and sun hat.
  • Water proof camera bags.
  • Sunglasses/sun burn lotions.
  • Good insect repellent in a no-spill container.
  • High-altitude drugs (if required).
  • Any prescription medication you are taking.
  • Walking sticks (not compulsory).
  • Camel pack (water bag which will go into the backpack – not compulsory).
  • Anything that you would need of a personal nature.

Tips

• Always carry your passport/ identity card
• Always keep a safe distance from animals
• Do not feed the animals
• Do not tease any animals.
• Do not pick flowers or damage any plants or trees
• Do not enter restricted areas.
• Do not make noise playing musical instruments, radios, tape recorders and singing etc.
• Pets are not allowed within Zoo premises
• Smoking is prohibited within the premises.
• Posses your ticket at all time within the premises
• Please quote your ticket number and the date of visit for any correspondence
• Keep your camara ready at all times.There will be no time to changing lences  etc....

minimum numbers of participants are more than 4 and maximum is 8 

* Confirmation will be receive at the time of booking.

* Maximum Guest should be more than 4.If travellars are less than 4 we will re-schdule for next day.

Booking Conditions

* All activities must be paid for in full at the time of booking.

* Activities may be cancelled due to weather conditions or other conditions beyond the reasonable    control of the company. Such activity bookings will be rescheduled and if they cannot be rescheduled a refund will be given.

* All activities are subject to minimum numbers of customers being available to attend the tour, course and/or activity. Accordingly the date and/or time of undertaking the tour may be modified at short notice.

* Participants in any tour must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs prior to, or during the undertaking of any activity or tour. The company reserves the right to exclude any such person(s). In the event of bad behavior, as deemed by the Company,& reserves the right to terminate. If the person(s) and or any person in their group is excluded or refused, the person(s) will not be entitled to a refund or any other form of compensation.

Our Responsibilities.

* All the services operated by us have been designed to provide participants with an exposure to the true nature of the environment visited and therefore involve an element of personal risk. 

All bookings are accepted on the understanding that such risks and hazards are appreciated by the Client and that they undertake all trip, vehicle hires and other activities at their own volition. 
company accepts no responsibility where the Client suffers death or personal injury as a result of an activity forming part of the trip arrangements and others booked with us, even if there has been fault on our's part and the cause was the Client's fault, the actions of someone unconnected with the trip.

* The booking will be confirmed upon payment.

Cancellation conditions

* No refund will be given in the event that the customer does not attend the activity at the scheduled time.

* The company reserves the right, if considered necessary (for example, due to mechanical breakdown, for safety reasons or weather conditions), to substitute another vehicle without notice.

* The Client may cancel the booking at any time provided that the cancellation is communicated to us in writing. Written notification is essential even if verbal notification of an intention to cancel has been given. We charge you for 50% per vehicle and refund only balance 50%.Cancellation charges will be applied from on two days before to operate your trip.If not no any refund.

* You can change the date and need to be inform to us two days before,your trip date.

* The company reserves the right to cancel a service in any circumstances such as war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, epidemics, health risks, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, technical or maintenance problems with transport, or other similar events beyond the control of us.In such a issue we will inform to you and re- schdule the trip.
