One day Tour of Sigiriya from Kandy

Tour itinerary:

• This guided tour takes you from Kandy to Sigiraya. You would be provided with a tour guide and this tour is must for those who would like to know more about Gautama Buddha’s teachings. The main places that you would visit include Dambulla Rock Temple, Sigiriya Rock Fortress, Spice and Herbal Garden and Aluvihara Monastery.
• The journey starts at 6.00am in the morning and drive to Sigiriya from Kandy. It is a two hour journey. Sigiriya is an ancient place located near the town of Dambulla and is for its history and archaeological significance.
• Sigiriya rock fortress is the first site that we would be visiting. It is one of the best examples of preservation of ancient urban planning and is the most visited historic site in Sri Lanka. It is also listed by UNESCO in World Heritage Site list.
• From there we take an elephant ride of Sigiriya. The ride would be optional and would depend on how comfortable you are with an elephant ride.
• We proceed to Hirawadunna Village Trek. You can enjoy Sri Lankan Village buffet lunch.We would have lunch here before proceeding further.
• We then head to Dambulla. It is a centre of vegetable distribution of country. 
• Dambulla Rock temple is our next site for the day. It is a World Heritage site and also one of the most visited cave temples in Sri Lanka.
• Next we proceed to Spice and Herbal Garden. Here you would get a lot of information about various spices and herbs grown in Sri Lanka.
• Aluvihara Monastery is our last site for the day before heading back. It holds a great significance in global history if Buddhism. All the caves are well ornamented with hand painted frescoes and colored statues.

At around 6.00 PM we drive back to Kandy. On this tour you are going to learn a lot. as well as have great fun. Our tourist guide would help you throughout the day and would leave no stone unturned to make you feel comfortable

• You should take your shoes off and leave them in the shoeroom (shoes and Bag collection point).
• Wear long loose trousers or a long skirt that covers your legs.
• Make sure your shoulders and cleavage are covered.
• It’s best not to wear black or other fully dark clothing.
• It's better If you wear White clothing.

* All activities must be paid for in full at the time of booking.

* Activities may be cancelled due to weather conditions or other conditions beyond the reasonable    control of the company. Such activity bookings will be rescheduled and if they cannot be rescheduled a refund will be given.

* All activities are subject to minimum numbers of customers being available to attend the tour, course and/or activity. Accordingly the date and/or time of undertaking the tour may be modified at short notice.

* Participants in any tour must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs prior to, or during the undertaking of any activity or tour. The company reserves the right to exclude any such person(s). In the event of bad behavior, as deemed by the Company,& reserves the right to terminate. If the person(s) and or any person in their group is excluded or refused, the person(s) will not be entitled to a refund or any other form of compensation.

All bookings are accepted on the understanding that such risks and hazards are appreciated by the Client and that they undertake all trip, vehicle hires and other activities at their own volition. 
company accepts no responsibility where the Client suffers death or personal injury as a result of an activity forming part of the trip arrangements and others booked with us, even if there has been fault on our's part and the cause was the Client's fault, the actions of someone unconnected with the trip.

* The booking will be confirmed upon payment.

Cancellation conditions

* No refund will be given in the event that the customer does not attend the activity at the scheduled time.

* The company reserves the right, if considered necessary (for example, due to mechanical breakdown, for safety reasons or weather conditions), to substitute another vehicle without notice.

* The Client may cancel the booking at any time provided that the cancellation is communicated to us in writing. Written notification is essential even if verbal notification of an intention to cancel has been given. We charge you for 50% per vehicle and refund only balance 50%.Cancellation charges will be applied from on two days before to operate your trip.If not no any refund.

* You can change the date and need to be inform to us two days before,your trip date.

* The company reserves the right to cancel a service in any circumstances such as war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, epidemics, health risks, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, technical or maintenance problems with transport, or other similar events beyond the control of us.In such a issue we will inform to you and re- schdule the trip.
