Sacred Temple of the Tooth, Kandy
The sacred Temple of the Tooth in the historic city of Kandy houses one of Buddhism’s most sacred relics and draws followers of the Buddhist faith from all over the world. The Royal Complex situated around the Temple of the Tooth and Kandy Lake – comprising of the King’s Palace, the Queens Palace, the Audience Hall, the Royal Boathouse and the Royal Summer House, represent the zenith of ancient Sri Lankan architecture.
The last stronghold of the Sri Lankan kings against a series of colonial invaders was at Kandy, at 500 metres in the Hill Country. Now a bustling city, Kandy still remains a sanctuary for traditional Sinhalese culture, with a number of important heritage sites in and around the city.
The Temple of the Sacred Tooth enshrines Sri Lanka’s most important relic of Lord Buddha. Constructed during the 17th and 18th centuries, this temple is surrounded by a deep moat. Nearby are three impressive shrines or devalas dedicated to guardian deities: Natha, Vishnu and Pattini. A fourth devala a short distance away, the Kataragama shrine, is famed for its wooden columns with exquisitely carved panels.
The temple was part of a complex of buildings that included the 16th century King’s Palace (part of which now houses the Archaeological Museum), while the Queen’s Palace, home to the National Museum, has a collection of royal regalia. Kandy’s pleasant Lake in the centre of the old city was created by the last Sinhalese King in 1807.
In the hills around Kandy, many temples feature the distinctive architecture, murals and carving of the late-medieval period. These include two 14th century temples: the beautiful hilltop Lankatilleke and Gadaladeniya, its wooden doors still bearing the original paintings.

- You should take your shoes off and leave them in the shoeroom (shoes and Bag collection point).
- Wear long loose trousers or a long skirt that covers your legs.
- Make sure your shoulders and cleavage are covered.
- It’s best not to wear black or other fully dark clothing.
- It's better If you wear White clothing.

Booking Conditions
* All activities must be paid for in full at the time of booking.
* Activities may be cancelled due to weather conditions or other conditions beyond the reasonable control of the company. Such activity bookings will be rescheduled and if they cannot be rescheduled a refund will be given.
* All activities are subject to minimum numbers of customers being available to attend the tour, course and/or activity. Accordingly the date and/or time of undertaking the tour may be modified at short notice.
* Participants in any tour must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs prior to, or during the undertaking of any activity or tour. The company reserves the right to exclude any such person(s). In the event of bad behavior, as deemed by the Company,& reserves the right to terminate. If the person(s) and or any person in their group is excluded or refused, the person(s) will not be entitled to a refund or any other form of compensation.

All bookings are accepted on the understanding that such risks and hazards are appreciated by the Client and that they undertake all trip, vehicle hires and other activities at their own volition.
company accepts no responsibility where the Client suffers death or personal injury as a result of an activity forming part of the trip arrangements and others booked with us, even if there has been fault on our's part and the cause was the Client's fault, the actions of someone unconnected with the trip.
* The booking will be confirmed upon payment.
Cancellation conditions
* No refund will be given in the event that the customer does not attend the activity at the scheduled time.
* The company reserves the right, if considered necessary (for example, due to mechanical breakdown, for safety reasons or weather conditions), to substitute another vehicle without notice.
* The Client may cancel the booking at any time provided that the cancellation is communicated to us in writing. Written notification is essential even if verbal notification of an intention to cancel has been given. We charge you for 50% per vehicle and refund only balance 50%.Cancellation charges will be applied from on two days before to operate your trip.If not no any refund.
* You can change the date and need to be inform to us two days before,your trip date.
* The company reserves the right to cancel a service in any circumstances such as war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, epidemics, health risks, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, technical or maintenance problems with transport, or other similar events beyond the control of us.In such a issue we will inform to you and re- schdule the trip.
